Second meeting of the European COMBILASER consortium

The main purpose of the meeting was to assess the progress being made by the COMBILASER project consortium in activities implemented in the first five months of the project. The partners (work package leaders) leading the first scheduled activities informed the consortium on the progress and on the responsibilities that they will have to take over in the following months.

First presentation of the project on 15th AM Platform Meeting - General Assembly

AM Platform meeting, including general assembly was held on days 5^th and 6^th of February in Turin, Italy. The second day of meeting was open for showing running AM EU Projects. 

The consortium parner LORTEK is member of the platform and Jaime Ochoa, representing LORTEK, was invited by the AM Platform coordinator to do short presentation about ongoing AM projects.

COMBILASER is not a project 100 % focused on AM technologies, but the results of the project can be used in AM, mainly for direct energy deposition technology, because of developments done for laser cladding (use-case of TM COMAS partner) can be extrapolated to this AM technology.
